This is #1 in a series to help bring awareness of endangered animals.
The Spirit of this Prairie Dog symbolizes the power of positivity and a powerful sense of community. Prairie Dog barks a warning that you need to free yourself from the dangerous emotional tides threatening to overwhelm you! When you feel as if your sacred space requires defending, Prairie Dog stands firm with you. According to the IUCN Red List, the total Utah prairie dog population size is thought to be fewer than 10,000 individuals. Currently this species is classified as Endangered (EN) and its numbers are decreasing.

NOTE: The painting extends around the sides so it looks good framed or unframed. Colors may vary slightly because of differences in monitors. Signed discreetly on the front. This original painting is not framed.
You can buy with confidence as I have been a full-time artist for 50+ yrs. and my fine art works are in homes and collections around the world.
