The bird and the cat.
Thinking about some of my family today, so I added a parakeet.
Why? Well, my grandma had a little blue parakeet for years
that she taught to talk. It would ask her" Whatcha doin'
Vernie?, Whatcha cookin?, Love ya Vernie and some other things.
That bird was her treasure.

Here is a small item from one of my future retro-vintage still lifes.
I thought it would be fun to do some of my old wind ups!
I did some of them over three years ago and since I am
now doing some more elaborate settings, I decided that
I would spotlight a few fun items. I have always been a BIG
fan of science fiction and fantasy. It seems to be the
place for the mind to imagine that anything is possible!

When I was young Old Dutch Cleanser was a big name!
Our fun time was filled with coloring, playing marbles
and cards. The old spin tops were called "Galaxy" and
once in a while you might get a REAL LETTER in the mailbox.
