Life can certainly have a lot of ups & downs
(especially these days). You could say that it is a bit
of a balancing act and then we still may be living on
a shoestring (in this case a yoyo string)!

Retro Vintage Still Life Series- Sold

Well, here is the first in a new series. These are much more
involved than most of the smaller paintings and do take quite
a bit more time to complete but I think they are worth it.
I love to create assemblage because it gives me a chance
to use all the old junk, tools and stuff, and I love animals, so it
just seems logical to me to put them all together.

For many Picasso is the greatest art genius of the twentieth century. For others he is a gifted charlatan. Undisputed is the fact that he influenced and dominated the art of the twentieth century like no other modern artist.

Above the American Tradition - White Castle

On a beautiful blue sky day, I found this young guy standing
on the roof of one of the oldest White Castles around my area.
White Castle has been around so long now that I think one could
call it an American tradition.

I was really pleased with the results on this one.
Parts of it were in an old store window in my neighborhood.
I am not sure what they were selling there(if anything)

getting out their bikes to make trips to the store which,
