LET'S GET PICKLED!
My mom use to love pickled foods. I remember that she use to
make her own canned pickles, tomatoes and some jams & jellies.
Of course, today, most people just buy them at the grocery but
they never taste the same as mom's!

Just a little bit of happiness today!
A little scottie collectible with a yellow frosted glass vase
and an old fashioned country flower. It was fun to
work on doing a frosted glass vase. Have a GREAT happy day!

I am really enjoying some of these new and different sizes of
canvas. They fill those small spaces on the wall and inspire new
ideas, like doing a painting of my favorite flowers in a tall glass vase.
One of our first signs of spring. I am always so happy to see them in
full bloom but also get a bit sad because they leave so quickly.

Spring Cleaning - woman cleaning

"Daily Chores"
oil on canvas - 6"x8"
Now that spring has finally arrived, I am out and about again.
I wanted to use color and design of shapes to create a mood.
You can see this gal sweeping and cleaning in front of her shop
in my neighborhood almost on a daily basis ~ getting ready for business!
