"Written under this image in the Appletree Hollow album, was the date of 1827 with the title: Dee & Dum - the Tweedle Twins. I was a stunned at first and obviously, my thoughts went immediately to Lewis Carroll’s famous writings of “Through the Looking- Glass and what Alice found There”. Could there possibly be a link? I began rummaging through the diaries to see if I could find out more information about these two and finally found several notations and references to older diary entries. At this point, I can tell you that, yes indeed, they seem to be the original Tweedle brothers and could have been the two that Lewis Carroll referred to in her stories. They were identical twins who, as far as I can tell, never contradicted each other. Rather, they complimented each other in every way so completely that they became very famous, eventually owning a chain of clothing stores – “The Tweedle Brothers” finest in tailored wool clothing for big men.
I will be giving more of their complete history later on, in the Appletree Hollow Story."

Hey Todd,
Really great to hear from you. I just love your work. So drawn to the ones of anonymous little rounded men in boats...Hmmm, don't know why that is...Could sound a bit ....creepy? Just kidding around. Really do like your stuff. Thanks for stopping by and enjoyed my odd bit of humor today!
